PHAT KAT has re-created this "Golden Classic" into a refreshing new track with a very realistic 'India' feel. The soundtrack was also co-produced by the vocalist herself, Sonia Panesar and her brother, world-renowned percussionist, Bobby Panesar.

"CHARKHA MERA RANGLA" was first sung and performed by CHITRA SINGH & LATE JAGJIT SINGH JI, in 1982 at The Royal Albert Hall. The track was touched by many and is still remembered as a Golden Era Punjabi Classic.

SONIA PANESAR is proud and very honored to be the first artist to cover this track after 30 years since its first performance by the original Ghazal duo...

As a personal note of gratitude, Sonia has dedicated the soundtrack to the KING OF GHAZAL, LATE JAGJIT SINGH JI.
