Introducing Sidhu Tajpuri. A Folk singer and instrumentalist, who is signed to worldwide Speed Records. Sidhu Tajpuri spent his early years embracing firsthand the culture and essence of real Indian folk music. Growing up in the surroundings of his Uncle and Ustad Harbhajan Singh Sidhu; who had a great understanding and enthusiasm for the traditional composition, and also being musically adapt to play customary instruments such as the tumbi, thoumba, harmonium and sarangi; Sidhu Tajpuri began to show his natural flare and interest in Punjabi music.

The sonata and infatuation of music was great in the Sidhu family, and while Sidhu Tajpuri was only three years of age, his fascination for making melodies was already absorbed. His first interest being the ‘dhad’; where from such a young age, he started to tap out his own beats. His natural ear for music enabled him to interpret different sounds and rhythms.

Having also performed live on TV ‘Maan Doabe Da’ in 2008 alongside Tigerstyle. This Brilliant Live Folk Singer is now setting standards with 2 singles ‘Goriye’ (a duet with the lovely Miss Pooja) and ‘Mitra de Shaunk Vakreh’ from the forthcoming album ‘Sentimental Value’.
