Honey Singh summoned by Punjab & Harayna High Court for singing vulgar songs
According to reports coming out of Punjab, controversial rapper/producer Yo Yo Honey Singh has been summoned by the Punjab & Haryana High Courts for singing vulgar songs!
Courts today ordered Punjab rapper/producer Yo Yo Honey Singh to present himself before the court on 14th May over allegations he sung a controversial song ‘Main Hoon Balatkari’ (I am a rapist).
The petition against Honey Singh was filed by a NGO based in Punjab titled HELP (Human Empowerment League of Punjab) called described the song as "obscene, vulgar and highly objectionable".
The petition has also named the following singers Diljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal, Ashok Masti and Geeta Zaildar to quote: “whose music albums/songs should be scrutinised and appropriate action taken against them as per law.”
The case will be heard at court on 14th May
