SimplyBhangra.com is devastated to report the passing away of one of the well known DJ's in the industry, DJ Gurps (Gurps Mudher) at a young age of 34.

Many artists in the industry have been heart broken and devastated by hearing this news as they share their feelings on social media and how he was genuinely an extremely kind and friendly person.

In the music business you come across a whole spectrum of people and it's rare you meet those that are genuine, kind and full of love. @djgurpsmusic was one of the very few in that catagory and from the bottom of my heart..I will miss you brother. RIP Gurps ⚘

In this short period of time he has achieved so much. In 2009, releasing his debut album ‘Expectations’ which included tracks such as ‘Ous Kurri’ with Manak-e and ‘Daru Pee Ke Nachna’ with the Late Kaka Bhaniawala we all knew he had a lot to showcase.

Even though he did not release tracks regularly, he occasionally dropped a single such as ‘Gabhru Gulaab Warga,’ with Manjit Sohi and ‘Swaad’ with Deep Jandu.

We are sure he had much more lined up for us in future but with great regret will never know what was planned.

Being part of Calibar Roadshow and building a strong friendship with the team it is a very difficult moment for both family and friends and our thoughts go out to them all.

We will not be commenting on the details but we would like to pass our thoughts onto the Mudher family at this very tough time.
