Star Plus Rebrands with Fresh New Look
Star Plus, the flagship channel of STAR Network, has been rebranded. The bold and progressive move gives rise to a striking new logo that sees the iconic star shaded in vivid ruby red, with the brand promise of ‘Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi’. The channel refresh goes live on June 13th during the annual Star Parivaar Awards on Star Plus.
The radiant ruby red hue is representative of Star Plus being at the heart of STAR’s impressive bouquet of channels. The colour red also represents prosperity, optimism, celebration and energy, which all typify the core values of Star Plus and its range of innovative programming.
London-based brand solutions company, Venture Three, which has been used by News Corporation to rebrand Sky, and also by The Times newspaper, hmv, Heathrow and Waterstone’s, designed the new logo.
This refresh also celebrates ten glorious years of Star Plus and its commitment in creating innovative content that raises the bar for South Asian entertainment.
Some of the new shows that will strengthen the ‘Nayi Soch’ brand promise are Tere Liye (launches 21st June on Star Plus) - A Balaji comeback that offers a whole new perspective on love stories and Chand Chupa Badal Mein (launches 12th July on Star Plus) – A new look on middle class aspirations and how girl becomes the back bone of her family.
