Diljit Dosanjh once again becomes a record breaker as his new Punjabi blockbuster 'Sardaarji' smashes first day records in Punjabi cinema!

The new film 'Sardaarji' which stars Diljit Dosanjh alongside Neeru Bajwa & Mandy Takhar has had an amazing first day at the box office, grossing 2.5 crore! For comparison the second highest ever day at Punjabi cinema box office was 'Jatt & Juliet 2' which managed 1.5 Crore. These figures are for India only and do not take into account international areas such as North America, UK & Australia.

The film, which has been directed by Rohit Jugraj once again establishes Dilit Dosanjh as the premier Punjabi actor of his generation, with his past 5 movies all occupying the highest box office positions; Sardaarji, Jatt & Juliet 2, Punjab 1984, Disco Singh and Jatt & Juliet.

Diljit Dosanjh is set to continue his success in cinema by starring in his debut Bollywood film 'Udta Punjab' alongside Kareena Kapoor, set to hit cinemas in October 2015.
